Planned activities at Branchlands include bridge club, poker club, bingo, crafts, exercise equipment and classes, yoga, massage, visits by the bookmobile, trips to the library, lunch excursions to area restaurants, barbeques, walking clubs, men's night out, guest lecturers and musicians, Friday afternoon Happy Hour and Saturday night movies in our home theatre.
The Branchlands property features a walking path around a private fishing lake, surrounded by trees, plantings and wildlife. The tranquil setting also supports more reflective pastimes, and the professional staff respects the privacy and lifestyle preferences of each resident.
We also plan trips for residents to places of interest outside Charlottesville: Sunday night supper at a selected restaurant, shopping trips to Richmond, lunch and wine tasting at the King Family Vineyard in Crozet, a two-day trip to Natural Bridge as well as many other easy getaways to enjoy. Branchlands makes all arrangements and provides transportation.
